The highly anticipated AMÍS (American-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce) Annual Steak Dinner is just around the corner! Join us on Saturday, September 5th, at the Hilton Reykjavík Nordica.
The AMÍS Steak Dinner has been a premier annual tradition since 2014, making it an incredibly popular event among the business community. Pre-sales have officially closed, so make sure to secure a table for your company before we sell out!
The Evening's Program & Menu
🥂 Welcome Drinks: The night kicks off with a complimentary welcome drink, generously sponsored by Ölgerðin.
🍽️ A Gourmet Experience: The master chefs at the Hilton have crafted a spectacular menu:

- Appetizer: Lobster soup with pickled fennel, dill oil, and langoustine.
- Main Course: Beef tenderloin with bacon crumble, fondant potatoes, carrot purée, glazed carrots, mushrooms, and a rich red wine glaze.*
- Dessert Feast: Tiramisu with mascarpone cream, coffee, ladyfingers, and cocoa; chocolate mousse with raspberries; churros with chocolate sauce; and a classic Crème Brûlée.
- A full vegan/plant-based menu is also available upon request.
🎤 Master of Ceremonies: We are thrilled to welcome Árni Helgason—lawyer, author, and Member of Parliament—as our host for the evening.
🎶 After-Dinner Entertainment: Get ready to hit the dance floor! The party continues into the night with energetic performances by Herra Hnetusmjör, the ultimate party band The Babies, and the legendary Ragga Gísla. Plus, keeping with tradition, a special mystery guest will make an appearance!
