The American-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce is taking a business delegation to Seattle in May, and Foreign Minister Bjarni Benediktsson will lead the delegation.

The trip provides a unique opportunity to visit leading companies in the world and learn about the US economy and this important export market today.

The business delegation will visit companies such as e.g. Amazon, American Seafoods, Boeing, Expedia and Microsoft. A detailed program will be sent out later.

The participation fee is ISK. 85,000 for AMIS members and ISK. 40,000 for spouse. The fee includes lunch and dinner on both days and transportation. Spouses can also participate only in the evening program and the price for that is ISK. 25,000.

Rooms at the Kimpton Palladian hotel have been booked. The accommodation costs USD 249 plus taxes. Breakfast is not included in the price. Please note that everyone books their own hotel and a limited number of rooms are available. A booking link for the hotel will be sent following registration and payment of the participation fee.

Participants book their own flight according to their convenience, but the AMÍS schedule is on Wednesday, May 22 and Thursday, May 23.
