AMIS broke new ground today and celebrated Thanksgiving in collaboration with Mathús Garðabæjar. Of course, turkey with all the trimmings was on the menu, and Friðjón R. Friðjónsson, city councillor and public relations officer, reviewed the political situation in the USA today. Friðjón spoke, among others about the upcoming presidential election and the fact that the possible next president could be incarcerated when he is elected!
Attendance was good, and it's clear that interest in American politics and a good Thanksgiving meal is high.
