On April 30, the German-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual spring celebration – Spargelabend – at Sjáland.

The evening began with a summery aperitif provided by Ölgerðin, accompanied by the smooth jazz sounds of Bjössi Sax Trio. The chefs at Sjáland prepared a delicious menu where Germany, spring, and asparagus took center stage.

Jógvan Hansen, the evening's host, kept the mood lively with humor and music, even performing a few songs. Singer Hrafnhildur Magnea Ingólfsdóttir, better known as Raven, made a surprise appearance and joined Jógvan on stage for a duet. After dinner, DJ Pétur took over and kept the music going into the night.

The German-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all guests for attending and reminds everyone that Spargelabend will return next year.
