The Icelandic-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce Hosted Reception Aboard MS Brisen During Presidential Visit to Norway
The Icelandic-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce proudly participated in the official visit of the President of Iceland to Norway, hosting a special reception aboard the MS Brisen, docked at Rådhusbrygge in Oslo. The vessel, owned by Brim Explorer, provided a stunning setting for the occasion on a beautiful spring day.

Approximately 120 guests attended the event, including members of the Icelandic business delegation and key figures from the Norwegian business community.

Steinunn Kristín Þórðardóttir, Chair of the Icelandic-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the guests and emphasised the strong and enduring commercial ties, as well as the positive relations, between Iceland and Norway.

The guest of honour, Mr Daði Már Kristófersson, Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs of Iceland, addressed the gathering alongside Mr Vegard Grøslie Wennesland, Secretary of State at Norway’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries.

Presentations were also given by representatives from the Icelandic-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, Business Iceland, and the Norwegian law firm Arntzen de Besche.

The event was marked by a warm and lively atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of collaboration between the two nations.
