Successful Conference on Digital Healthcare by the Swedish-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce and Alvotech

The Swedish-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce and Alvotech hosted a well-attended conference on Digital Healthcare on March 20, aiming to advance digital healthcare in Iceland by highlighting current and future opportunities in the field. The event attracted a diverse audience, including healthcare professionals, industry leaders, policymakers, and experts in digital development, privacy, and academia.

Key speakers included Björn Zoëga, Dr. Kalle Conneryd Lundgren, Johannes Schildt (Kry), and Tomas More Morrison (Cambio Healthcare Systems), who shared insights on Sweden’s digital healthcare advancements. Icelandic innovators Matthías Leifsson (Leviosa) and Þorbjörg Helga Vigfúsdóttir (Kara Connect) also presented their perspectives.

A panel discussion, featuring leading industry voices, explored opportunities and challenges in integrating digital solutions into Iceland’s healthcare system. The conversation emphasized the need for clear regulatory frameworks and broader collaboration among stakeholders, including public institutions, private healthcare providers, and health tech companies.
