THE DANISH-ICELANDIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS PROUD TO PRESENT:

-A BUSINESS DELEGATION TO DENMARK WHICH ACCOMPANIES THE PRESIDENT OF ICELAND ON A STATE VISIT TO DENMARK -

At the invitation of Fredrik X, The King of Denmark, and Queen, Mary, the President of Iceland, Halla Tómasdóttir, and her spouse, Björn Skúlason, will pay a state visit to Denmark the days of 8-9 October 2024.

The Icelandic state visit is the first incoming state visit for The King and The Queen and the first outward-bound state visit for the newly elected Icelandic President. The state visit emphasises the historical ties and the close relationship between Denmark and Iceland.

During the visit, the Presidential Couple will be accompanied by a business delegation from Iceland. The focus of the business delegation will be on strengthening of Danish-Icelandic cooperation and on shared ambitions on the broad sustainability agenda. In addition, there will be a joint focus on technological solutions in connection with digital and green transformation. The Icelandic business delegation will have meetings with their counterparts in Denmark. 

The Danish-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce is organizing the business delegation in collaboration with Business Iceland, The president’s office, The Icelandic embassy in Denmark, Green by Iceland, The Federation of Icelandic Industries, Dansk Industri, State of Green in Denmark, and Kongehuset.
