The Italian-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce invites you to a literary discussion with the principal translator of Icelandic literature into Italian, Silvia Cosimini.
On Tuesday, 1st October, the Italian-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce will host an *Aperitivo Letterario* at Borgartún 35 (Hylur) from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
Silvia has introduced Italians to the world of Icelandic literature, from ancient sagas and folklore to, most notably, contemporary literature. She has translated many of the most prominent modern authors, including Jón Kalman Stefánsson, Andri Snær, Hallgrímur Helgason, Bergsveinn Birgisson, Arnaldur Indriðason, Yrsa Sigurðardóttir, and Ragnar Jónasson, to name just a few.
Roberto Luigi Pagani (author of *Un italiano in Islanda* and lecturer in Icelandic at the University of Iceland) will moderate the discussion, in which everyone is welcome to participate.
There will be a wine tasting provided by Pink Iceland, with snacks from Cibo Amore.
Participation is open to all, but registration is required by 30th September via the following link: https://forms.gle/wyFmas37CYV8KEe59
