The British-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce hosted an online Nordic Drinks beer tasting event for its members and other guests on December 10, 2020 at 18: 00-19:30. The event was organized in collaboration with Kaldi Brewery as well as the Norwegian-British, Finnish-British, Danish-British and Swedish-British Chambers of Commerce.
Þorsteinn Ingi Ragnarsson, brewmaster, told stories about the production and development of the beers that were for tasting (Jóla Kaldi, Jóla Kaldi Léttöl, Súkkulaði Porter and Kaldi Triple). Stefán Pálsson reviewed the history of beer in Iceland and its importance in Icelandic culture in a short and entertaining way.
Around 140 tickets were purchased for the event, which went exceptionally well and engaging discussions took place among the participants and hosts.
