Last Monday 15th of January, a delegation from Iceland, led by the Icelandic Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Bjarni Benediktsson, paid a visit to Munich. The delegation was graciously hosted by Bavarian companies and had the opportunity to explore various establishments, including the headquarters of BMW, the Munich-based delicatessen Frischeparadies, the Munich Technology Centre (MTZ), and BayStartUp. Throughout the visit, presentations were conducted by key entities such as IHK (The Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria), Katla Travel, and Baind.
The visit proved to be highly productive for the delegation, opening new possibilities and strengthening networks for all participants. Approximately fifty individuals from both the Icelandic and German business sectors were part of this delegation, contributing to the enriching exchange of ideas and fostering valuable connections.
