ITIS and the Torino Chamber of Commerce visit the Icelandic Ocean Cluster June 6th.

 

On Thursday, June 6 at 5:15 p.m., Sjávarklasinn invites member companies of the Italian-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce to visit.

Árni Mathiesen, special advisor at the Sea Cluster and former Director General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in Rome, will guide visitors through the offices of the Sea Cluster and introduce the cluster's companies and their activities.

Íslenski Sjávarklasinn ehf. is a company and business accelerator that has extensive cooperation with a number of innovative companies in the blue economy; provides them with facilities, strengthens their network and invests in the startups. The goal of the Marine Cluster is to promote all activities related to the country's oceans and watersheds and to use national technical knowledge to enhance value creation and strengthen our competitiveness.

The purpose of the visit is the arrival of three representatives of the Torino Chamber of Commerce and an Italian investor to Iceland for the Icelandic Aquaculture and Ocean Forum conference on June 4-6, but guests will meet them as well.
